Statistical data shows that more than a significant number of students begin college but do not persist past their first year, which is not congruent with their previous academic skills. The ACHIEVE peer coaching program was developed for students who are in academic jeopardy (less than a 2.0).
This presentation is designed to assist others in the development of a peer coaching program. This program is unique in that it uses best practices from student affairs and academic affairs. The delivery method will be power-point, developed intake forms, program information, training manuals and guides.
